Lucky couple win luxury Beach House in Cornwall

Sandra Berry, her husband Brian and their family simply could not believe their luck when they found out they had won a fabulous Tingdene holiday home, The Beach House, after entering a competition at the Ideal Home Show.

It is understandable, really, as the competition, organised by the Daily Mail newspaper, had around 250,000 entrants.

Tingdene Homes and the Haulfryn Group had joined forces not only to provide the prize for the competition but also to work together at the show. The Beach House was designed by Tingdene especially for the show and for Haulfryn's exclusive development at Praa Sands in Penzance, Cornwall, where Sandra and co will now be spending many happy holidays.

It was designed around the style of an American style beach house, with exceptional modern design throughout.

It took a few weeks for Sandra to fully believe that she had won such a marvellous prize and when she went down to Praa Sands for the first time in June to be presented with the keys to the home, she was completely taken aback. The home had certainly lived up to her expectations.

Sandra was presented with the keys to her new holiday home by Simon Spencer of Haulfryn Group, accompanied by Sue Hollingshead of Tingdene and Rebecca Hansen, Haulfryn. Sandra and her family enjoyed a glass of Champagne to celebrate the occasion.
