Carefree buys up Barrons in Iberia

CAREFREE Lifestyle has bought Barron Group's Iberia business following the latter company's sale to Discovery Leisure.

Carefree has now taken ownership of all of Barron Group's unsold stock on the prestige Vilanova Park site on Spain's Costa Dorada, along with their interests at Sierra de Yeguas in Andalucia and Calico Park in Portugal.

"We are very excited by this acquisition, which adds a top holiday park to our portfolio of quality sites throughout Spain," said Carefree Lifestyle Director, Jon Sephton.

For those who haven't heard the name before, Carefree Lifestyle is a small company dedicated to providing caravan holiday homes from trusted manufacturers on hand-picked sites in Spain.
