The premier league – Mill on the Mole

c81ad97c-fe3b-43d4-90f7-63e47ecc59f4
NORTH Devon is an entrancing mix of rolling countryside, moorland, attractive market towns, stunning coastal scenery, with cliffs (the highest in England among them) and fine beaches, and a variety of seaside towns.

In the centre of the area is South Molton, often described as the gateway to Exmoor. Situated on the banks of the River Mole, it is a busy little town with a wide range of amenities. A perfect place to have within easy reach of your park...

And that’s why Mill On The Mole is such a successful park home estate. Beautifully set in a sheltered valley on the outskirts of South Molton, the park has been described as North Devon’s premier retirement estate.

All the homes are set in lovely landscaped grounds with well-maintained gardens, and the park offers peace and security and a real community spirit. There are resident managers, Steve and Terri Antram, who are assisted by Paul Sowden.

A regular bus service from the park gates can take you to South Molton town centre and on to Barnstaple, and buses to Tiverton are just a short walk away, so non-drivers are well served.
Historic Barnstaple, mentioned in the Domesday Book, is set on the River Taw and has bustling markets and an ancient port. From nearby Appledore you can take boat trips to the nature reserve of Lundy Island. Not far away is the lovely landscape of Exmoor.

For those who enjoy golf, there are several courses in the area, including one among the dunes of Braunton Burrows on the coast beyond Barnstaple.
