York House Holiday Park

Situated at the foot of the Hambleton Hills and overlooked by the White Horse of Kilburn, York House is a beautifully maintained family park set in an idyllic environment.

New pitches with hard standing bases, piped gas to homes, patio areas and excellent electric and water services provide the specification associated with the modern day holiday park.
A five-star rating from the English Tourist Board, together with the David Bellamy Gold Award for management of the environment, are testament to the achievement of York House in combining these modern standards with the conservation of the park’s natural environment.

Throughout the park, thousands of indigenous trees and shrubs have been planted over the 25 years in which Phil Brierley and his family have owned the business. In addition, wildlife habitats – including owl and bat boxes – have been created for the many different birds and mammals that thrive in the grounds. Wild flowers also proliferate throughout the park.

Site fees are £1,896.08 for caravans, and council rates are £170 (due May). Lodge site fees are £2,850, inclusive of council rates, grounds maintenance and WiFi. The season runs from 1 March to 30th November for caravans, and 1 March to 31 January for lodges.

Abbots Green

Abbots Green is an exclusive gated development of luxury Scandinavian-style timber lodges from sustainable sources, set in a new secluded section of York Park.

The lodges feature water and energy-saving devices, A-rated appliances, and a high level of insulation. These really are the ultimate in comfort and style with light, airy interiors and an attractive architect-designed profile.

Your new holiday home will come fully furnished and equipped, including a modern kitchen with the latest appliances. As well as a low carbon footprint, natural screening and generous spacing between units will ensure that they remain unobtrusive on the landscape.

Abbots Green enjoys an extended 11-month season, giving owners the flexibility to relax and enjoy their surroundings to suit them.

Old Hall Park

Tucked away in the village of Langthorpe, North Yorkshire, and only a five-minute walk from the picturesque market town of Boroughbridge, you will find Old Hall Park.

In days of old Boroughbridge proved a popular stopover for travellers of road, river and canal. Today, the network of waterways and nearby lakes provides excellent entertainment with boating and all types of fishing.

With modern hook-up and disposal facilities, the park caters for a limited number of touring caravans and tents, leaving much of the seven-and-a-half acres of parkland to afford space and comfort for the static holiday homes.

Old Hall has a games room incorporating a snooker table for adults, with a pool table and darts for the younger family members.

The towns of Harrogate, York, Knaresborough and Ripon are all in close proximity and provide a variety of options for recreation and entertainment.

Castlewigg Caravan Park

Whether it be private ownership of a caravan holiday home, a touring or a camping pitch you require, Castlewigg is situated 18 miles south of Newton Stewart and two miles north of Whithorn, in the heart of the Machars peninsula, in South West Scotland.

Surrounded by beautiful unspoilt countryside, and with sand beaches just five miles away, the park – which caters for couples and families – is an ideal retreat for those seeking peace and tranquillity.

This is excellent country for outdoor pursuits, especially walking, cycling and birdwatching. There are also a number of outstanding golf courses to test your skills.

Castlewigg is an ideal base for exploring Wigtownshire, with the beautiful countryside, coastlines and town and villages of the Machars.

The park is open from 1 March for touring and camping. Private holiday homeowners enjoy an extended season from 1 March to 7 January.
