THE Springs is a green field development for holiday homes designed around six lakes within 80 acres of land to provide a peaceful setting in splendid surroundings.

Since the early planning stages, the native wildlife has been taken into account. Back in 1985, English Nature set up a Site of Special Scientific Interest for Brocks Den Coppice to protect the rare marsh bird the marsh warbler. Over the years the lakes themselves have developed a character of their own with varied flora and fauna, which resulted in Worcestershire Wildlife Trust designating The Springs as a site of special interest. In an area with so much wildlife, various bodies were consulted before the final design to incorporate a holiday home park there was arrived at. The overall design, feel and theme of The Springs is conservation, with holiday homes sited in pockets with wildlife corridors. All services are underground, and 90% of the roads are gravel. Bill’s Lodge, the members’ lakeside clubhouse, has been constructed in wood with decking, overlooking the lake, sitting sympathetically within its setting. The Springs is situated in the Vale of Evesham, in the village of Lower Moor, offering fine views across the River Avon towards Bredon Hill. The nearby towns of Evesham and Pershore supply everyday needs for shopping, while Worcester is a short drive away.  Another scenically placed holiday home park owned by the same company, Allens Caravans, is Overstone Lakes, Northamptonshire, which is set in 115 acres of wooded parkland. This also has a lakeside club and features superb coarse fishing. At Overstone Lakes each holiday home has been thoughtfully set in its own garden plot, offering space and seclusion for owners. A wide variety of new and pre-owned homes is available, all spaciously designed, with modern built-in kitchens and luxury bathrooms, all fully equipped. Despite its rural location The Park is just a few minutes drive away from the M1. Allens Caravans is a thriving family business which has come a long way since being founded in the mid-1930s. In the late 1960s the late Bill Allen, the company’s founder, visited America to look at the holiday industry there and came back with lots of ideas. Since then the company has gone from strength to strength, developing parks throughout the UK. All their parks are suitable for the whole family to enjoy their new found leisure and freedom.
