HERON Lakes is situated in the village of Routh near the historic town of Beverley, which nestles in the Yorkshire Wolds.

Set in 75 acres of beautifully landscaped lakes and woodland, and with a total of just 50 lodges, it is one of the lowest density parks in the whole of the UK, with the added advantage that it can accommodate lodges up to 65’ x 22’. Professor David Bellamy has named Heron Lakes Holiday Park as one of the UK’s greenest holiday spots and awarded it a special accolade for protecting and enhancing the natural world, described by as the ‘Green Olympics’ for holiday parks. Heron Lakes’ award was made after a detailed audit of the park’s environmental policies. Here, you can live life to the full and experience all that the glorious outdoors has to offer in this amazing region. You can spend your days in the charming villages, and sample the delicious food in the country inns and restaurants. On your doorstep is the beautiful countryside offered by the Yorkshire Wolds, as well as the nearby sandy beaches that stretch the length of the Yorkshire coast. Local facilities include golf, clay pigeon shooting, and a wide range of watersports. Heron Lakes offers ‘Luxury Lodge Getaways’, so you can treat yourself to an idyllic break, enjoy the peace and tranquillity that Heron Lakes can offer, or use the excellent park as a base for your travels around Yorkshire. Afterwards you can return to the comfort of your own lakeside holiday home, allowing you the time to relax in style and luxury, so that you are refreshed and ready for another day. Two of the most popular luxury lodges are the perfect place to relax and unwind. The Deckhouse and Jasmine lodges are both finished to a superb standard. Luxury kitchens and bathrooms, plus open-plan living/dining areas, give the lodges a light and spacious feel. Patio doors open on to large decks which are almost on the water’s edge, offering the perfect setting for a BBQ or simply relaxing with a glass of wine while watching the sun set over the lakes. The whole ethos of Heron Lakes is tranquillity and serenity, which has led to the addition of sumptuous Jacuzzi hot tubs. Not only will the Jacuzzi hot tubs soothe your body, they will relax and soothe your mind.
