HARTRIDGE Farm is situated on the banks of the River Medway in the beautiful, peaceful Kentish village of East Farleigh – and you could hardly believe that the busy county town of Maidstone is only three miles away.

The lovely park has been developed for both single and twin residential units and comprises 60 plots. The waterside location means that direct river access is available exclusively to the residents for both fishing and boat mooring.

The nearby village of East Farleigh is sur-rounded by orchards and farms and has one of the oldest bridges in Kent. It is home to a sailing club, gardening club, history society and village hall, and holds an annual village fête. The village pubs are highly rated, and there are shops, including newsagents and a general store, within a mile of the park.

The surrounding area offers something for everyone. Maidstone itself has a great selection of shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as several museums and a cluster of 14th-century buildings, including All Saints Church, the Archbishop’s Palace and College of Priests.

Only a few miles away is Leeds Castle, once described as ‘the most beautiful castle in the world’. It sits atop two moated islands surrounded by 500 acres of parkland, and features a maze, aviary, grotto and a pay-and-play golf course among its attractions. There are regular events all year, catering for children, music-lovers, gardeners, theatregoers and amateur historians.

The Kent Downs and North Downs are also both within easy reach, with plenty for the walker and rider, there are plenty of golf courses in the vicinity, and London is easily accessible, either by train or the M20 motorway.

So you can have the best of both worlds at Hartridge Farm – rural tranquility and access to everything you need for a busy and lively lifestyle. It sounds like it must be worth a visit...
