Holiday park owner, Hoburne Group, has appointed two new general managers for its holiday parks.

Greg Nolan has been appointed general manager at Hoburne Cotswold. Greg, who previously worked as head chef and operations manager at Hoburne Naish back in 2005, has re-joined the family-run business, having spent the last few years overseeing the Dorset and Isle of Wight regions for another UK holiday park group.

Greg said: “I am thrilled to be back with Hoburne and excited to get going. The park itself is in a stunning setting, and I am excited for the year ahead; the park has a lot of opportunities and big potential for development.”

Hoburne has also appointed a new general manager at its New Forest-based park, Hoburne Bashley. Dave Absalom, who is currently the general manager of Hoburne Park, will now oversee both parks as he re-joins the team at Bashley, where he worked for six years as operations manager from 2010.

Dave has more than 25 years’ experience in the tourism and leisure industry and has worked for Hoburne for over 10 years in numerous management roles.

Dave said: “It’s really exciting to be back at Hoburne Bashley. I am very fond of the park, and I look forward to bringing my 25 years’ experience in the industry to further develop Hoburne Bashley’s offering and to ensure we deliver a first-class customer service to our homeowners, holidaymakers, and leisure members to enhance the five-star quality of the park.”

Simon Phillips, operations director for Hoburne added: “Greg and Dave have a vast experience in the leisure and tourism sector. Their passion and energy for leadership and experience in management will be invaluable to help drive the reputation of our holiday parks.”
