Take a look at the caravan of the future?

THE caravan you buy in 2020 could feature a monocoque chassis, a built in awning and a double skinned floor. according to industry experts quizzed by travel magazine Go Caravan in its new issue (on sale now).

Go Caravan commissioned 3D artwork of the caravan’s interior, showing multipurpose furniture and all-LED lighting.

Editor Sally Pepper said: “We’re used to seeing a high level of innovation and luxury in cars and boats. After the recession we could see manufacturers tooling up to bring some of this new thinking into caravans as well. With a whole lot of new people coming into caravanning, it’s time.”

Go Caravan was launched last August as a one-off summer magazine and will have two issues this year. The first is on sale for two months from 2 April, and the following issue will be on sale on 21 July.
