SsangYong set for success in 2012

After getting a look at both models during the 2011 Motorhome and Caravan Show at the NEC, Caravan got to test drive SsangYong's new Korando and Rexton at a recent roadshow in Hatfield.

We took to the road in the Korando ES two-wheel drive, EX four-wheel drive and EX Auto, all featuring a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine and a towbar fitted as standard. Prices start from £16,995 and SsangYong is backing the launch of its new Korando with the offer of a five-year limitless mileage warranty. CEO of SsangYong Motor UK Paul Williams explains: "This warranty is designed to be totally transparent and give our customers complete peace of mind. With SsangYong, 'limitless' means just that."

All major mechanical components are covered including wheel bearings, suspension joints and bushes, steering joints, shock absorbers and the audio system. Wearable components such as clutch discs and brake friction materials which could have their life reduced by poor driving are covered for one year or 12,000 miles, and the battery and paintwork for three years.

The warranty applies to the car not the buyer, so providing the service record is maintained it can be transferred no matter how many times the vehicle is sold within that five year period. It also includes all SsangYong approved accessories fitted by a SsangYong dealer, such as towbars. For more information visit SsangYong GB.
