Silverdale scoops the silverware at Cumbria Tourism Awards

The coveted Cumbria Tourism Holiday Park of the Year Award 2014 has gone to Holgates Silverdale, a Premier Park located at Arnside on Morecambe Bay.
Two further members of the exclusive Premier Parks group, Park Cliffe, Windermere, and Castlerigg Hall, Keswick, took runners-up prizes at the glitzy ceremony held last night in Kendal.Michael Holgate, owner of Holgates Silverdale, commented: "The fact that we have been recognised for the level of customer service we provide, the setting and surroundings, the facilities on the park and the overall quality of experience is incredibly rewarding for the team.
"We are immensely proud of what we have achieved and will continue offer the highest level of service to our customers".
Holgates Silverdale is a member of the exclusive Premier Parks group of top-rated campsites in the UK and Ireland. Each member is subject to a rigorous independent annual assessment by the editorial team behind the leading outdoor leisure magazines MMM, Caravan, and Camping.
The Silverdale site offers a great range of features and facilities to the visitor, including an impressive indoor swimming pool, restaurant and bar, and games arcade. The campsite is located near the coast of Morecambe Bay and offers beautiful scenery and fantastic views. Like other Premier Parks, its facilities are built and maintained to the highest standard.
There are currently 103 Premier Parks located throughout England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and Ireland. Each is independently assessed each year to ensure that these are the finest touring campsites available. More information on Premier Parks here.
