Ord House celebrate an array of awards

After scooping a raft of national awards in 2010, Ord House Country Park welcomed MP Sir Alan Beith to lead the celebrations.

The park, in Berwick-upon-Tweed, was named Best Park in Northumberland by the AA, was presented with a Gold Award by Britain in Bloom for its flowers and excellent grounds and named the County’s Best Holiday Park at the North East of England Tourism Awards. Further more, Ord House won a Five Star Loo of the Year award.

The high quality facilities at the park, which include a solar-panelled shower facility, an 18th-century mansion clubhouse and a brand new children’s adventure park, have become a firm favourite for families wanting to visit picturesque Northumberland and the Scottish borders.

Recently, the site opened an accessory shop offering caravan and camping equipment for the thousands of visitors to the park each year.
