Norfolk coast path re-opens

The Norfolk Coast Path, a 45-mile walking route along the north Norfolk coast, has been re-established this week through East Runton.
A section of the path was lost in the winter storms due to the collapse of a section of cliff near Woodhill Park, a caravan and camping park about a mile west of Cromer. A temporary diversion took the path inland and along the A149.On Wednesday 2 July 2014 the coastal nature of the path was restored with the opening of a new path at Woodhill Park. Walkers can now once again traverse the full length of the Norfolk Coast Path, from Hunstanton to Cromer.
Woodhill Park is a member of the exclusive Premier Parks group of top-quality campsites, and occupies an enviable clifftop position at East Runton. The campsite has installed new footpath markers to show the new route.
