National Caravan Council bricking it for the NEC caravan show (VIDEO)

The National Caravan Council is set to celebrate 130 years of leisure caravanning at this year's Motorhome and Caravan Show with a caravan build of record-breaking proportions!

On opening day, as well as row after row of caravans for sale, the NCC will unveil the Guinness World Record attempt for the largest touring caravan made of LEGO bricks.

Taking place between 13-18 October at the Birmingham NEC, the show will attract thousands of caravanners to wander around 400 exhibitors in 11 huge halls for the biggest product launch of the year and more. All the 2016 caravan launch models will be on show for you to explore, with expert advice on hand to ensure you get the best deal, should you wish to buy.

There will be thousands of accessories with discount deals up for grabs, celebrity appearances from ex superbike champion Carl Fogarty and TV presenter Matt Baker, plus free towing lessons courtesy of the clubs.

And that's not all! Monica Rivron will be demonstrating how to cook some more or her incredible caravanning recipes alongside husband Rowland, so be sure to follow your nose to the Bailey Caravans stand in Hall 19 between 10.30am and 2.30pm on Tuesday and Wednesday.
