Miriad Products acquires Quest Leisure Products

A trade supplier to the camping, caravan and motorhome industry, Miriad Products, has sealed the deal to buy Quest Leisure which also supplies the caravan, camping, motorhome and garden centre sectors with products.

This acquisition is the next step in Miriad’s growth plan, following on from a move to a bigger site in Uttoxeter from its former Derbyshire home earlier this year.

Quest was formed over 30 years ago by Chris and Maggie Irving and has grown to a multi-million-pound business. Adam Hughes one of the co-directors of Quest staying with the business says: “We have very complimentary product ranges and feel sure that our and Miriad’s customers will find much of interest in our combined offering.  It’s reassuring to know that the name, premises and staff, will be kept intact.”

Miriad was set up over 40 years and its CEO, Penny Whitelock is also feeling very positive about the acquisition, “It’s great to add Quest to our portfolio, as we share many values, such as our customer-focus and partner-based approach to our retailers. The move will see new, national distribution opportunities for both companies, and much potential for future growth both in terms of sales, and importantly, for staff development too.”
