Holiday park talent wins national final

Three members from the entertainments team at Devon-based holiday park, Beverley Holidays, have won the National Grand London Finals of the talent show 'Britain Does Variety'.

The resident boy band, consisting of Simon Mansfield, Mat Morgan and Jack Juniper, beat off stiff competition to win the 'Britain Does Variety', having already won the South West Regional Finals in Exeter.

Simon Mansfield, of the Entertainment Managers at Beverley Holidays, an MMM Premier Park in South Devon said, “It was amazing to just get through to the Grand Final of such a prestigious competition, never mind winning. The standard of the other acts were extremely high ... It’s a real honour and surprise to be the winners of such a high profile show.”

With a total of 30 Acts, the National Grand Finals comprised two separate shows - a matinée starring all Under 16s, and an evening show starring all 16s and Over winners from the 9 Regional Finals that have been held across the UK.

Judged by industry professionals including Giles Cooper, Executive Producer of the Royal Variety Performance, 'Britain Does Variety' was a nationwide quest to prove that Britain really does have talent.

The grand finals will be screened on Sky Channel ShowcaseTV in September.
