HERCMA postpones Caravan, Motorhome and Holiday Home Expo until 2022

The Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire Caravan Manufacturer's Association (HERCMA) has postponed the Caravan, Motorhome and Holiday Home Expo until 2022.

The event, due to take place at the Great Yorkshire Showground in September 2021, will now take place from September 2-4, 2022, for the public, followed by trade-only days from September 6-8, 2022. 

The Caravan, Motorhome and Holiday Home Expo gives manufacturers an opportunity to showcase the latest holiday homes, motorhomes and caravans to parks, dealers and distribitors from around the world.

Richard Jones, chairman of HERCMA, said: “Unfortunately, there remains too much uncertainty to commit to the event this year. We have therefore made this announcement at the earliest opportunity and also published the dates for next year, so these can be firmly fixed in diaries.

“The safety of everyone involved is our top priority and we are not prepared to compromise the health and wellbeing of exhibitors or visitors in any way. In addition, although the event is mainly outdoor, it obviously involves visitors experiencing holiday homes indoors and we want them to be able to appreciate fully the latest models and the amazing lifestyle they offer.

“We’re now looking forward, with confidence, to the first event at our new venue in Harrogate in September 2022 when the pandemic is behind us. The industry and our customers can then come together to celebrate the very best of the great British staycation!”
