Gloucestershire campsite wins tourism award

Tudor Caravan Park at Slimbridge in Gloucestershire has won a gold award in the Cotswold Holiday Park of the Year awards run by Cotswolds Tourism and Cotswold Life magazine.
The gong comes after the campsite scored a silver award in 2012.Tudor Caravan Park is close to the Gloucester-Sharpness canal and just a five minute walk from the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust Centre at Slimbridge, a world-famous conservation centre.
The site takes caravans, tents, and motorhomes on its two fields, one of which is for families while the other is adults-only.
Tudor Caravan Park has collected a gold David Bellamy Conservation Award every year since 2000, and is one of only 37 UK parks to be given the special 10 Year Commitment to Conservation Award.
And if that wasn’t enough, the campsite is also rated four stars by Visit England and has four pennants from the AA.
