Club driving courses now booking

THE Camping and Caravanning Club's caravan and motorhome manoeuvring courses are now available to book.

The CCC has been running courses for more than a decade and, so far, almost 7,000 people have benefited from the one-day courses, aimed at promoting road safety as well as helping build the skills and confidence of those taking part.

The syllabus includes reversing techniques, manoeuvring skills, tips on loading, hitching and unhitching, as well as general towing law and advice. The day includes plenty of hands-on experience as well as classroom training. Courses are available throughout the UK.

Professional driving tutors as well as club members take the courses, with each instructor assisting a maximum of four people at a time, allowing for individual needs to be met and all questions answered.

On successful completion of the course, participants will be presented with a Manoeuvring Course DVD or video, a helpful Safe Towing for Life handbook and a certificate that can be used towards the Institute of Advanced Motorists Towing Test.
