Club agrees fourth Olympic site

The Camping and Caravanning Club has today agreed a fourth London-based site for the Olympic Games.

The Club has signed an agreement with Lee Valley Regional Park Authority to operate an event campsite during July and August 2012 at the WaterWorks Nature Reserve and Golf Centre in Leyton, East London.

The event campsite, which will run from July 20 to August 16, 2012, will boast 320 pitches, offer full camping facilities and provide onsite catering plus it's just a 10-minute walk from the Olympic Park.

Camping will start from £45 a night, based on a minimum three-night stay, and Club rules will apply whilst staying on site. The site will be open to members and non-members.

There is also still availability at Gravesend/Old Gravesendians Rugby Clubs (247 pitches), Culverstone Recreation Ground (221 pitches) and Westlands Playing Fields in the London Borough of Havering (430 pitches).
