Celebrities set to put on a show at the NEC

2a4dc39f-cbfa-4dd1-9843-6f3f2f353dd5
Three top TV celebrities will take to the stage at this year’s show, adding another level of entertainment to an already packed NEC line-up. The 2012 Motorhome & Caravan Show will see Catherine Bach, the actor who played Daisy Duke in the 1980s series Dukes of Hazzard; one of Britain’s most gifted artisan bakers Paul Hollywood and rugby playing, MasterChef-winning television personality Matt Dawson; all stepping up in front of crowds throughout the week of the event.

At 10am on Tuesday 16 October, Catherine Bach will take a break from filming her current TV drama to officially open the show from The Caravan Club lounge and join in Club Day celebrations.

On the Wednesday, having worked as head baker at some of the country’s most exclusive hotels, Paul Hollywood will bring his expertise to the Cookery Theatre. He will demonstrate how an enjoyment of baking doesn’t have to be left behind when caravanning.

Matt Dawson will bring his own culinary genius and light-hearted humour to inspire crowds on the Saturday by showing us how to create delicious meals in minutes. When Paul and Matt are not in residence, the Cookery Theatre will be hosted by professional chefs from across the country. It’s just one of many attractions which visitors can attend free of charge.

Expert advice

The Expert’s Advice Theatre is also set to return for this year’s show once again, offering all visitors important access to an incredible amount of knowledge and information spanning years of experience throughout the industry.

The theatre will stage a daily schedule of talks followed by Q&A sessions on a range of topics from towing and legal issues, to buying, and details on facilities or in-caravan entertainment.

Talks will be staged at 10.45am (Wednesday and Saturday), 11.45am (Thursday, Friday and Sunday) and 2.45pm (every day) from the Experts’ Advice Theatre in hall 17, stand 105.
