Boat & Caravan Show deemed a huge success

Last week's Boat & Caravan Show attracted 86,988 visitors - a four per cent increase over the previous year.

The show, which took place at Birmingham's NEC, ran alongside the brand-new Outdoor Leisure Show, the UK’s newest show for outdoor enthusiasts.

Event Director Andy Gibb said: “These visitor figures are a major boost for all those within the industry including manufacturers, dealers, retailers and leading associations.

“The Boat & Caravan Show is more popular than ever, seen by visitors and the industry with great affection. It delivers all our exhibitors with an ideal environment to promote and sell at a perfect time to kick start the new holiday season.

A new show tenancy agreement at the NEC has been signed for 2012 and 2013 and a three-year partnership with the Camping and Caravanning Club has been agreed, where they will become the show's official partner.

Some of you may have noticed MMM & Caravan's new-look modern stands - they seemed to drum up plenty of interest, too, with hundreds of you subscribing to the magazines at the show - welcome aboard!
