Bailey unveil Unicorn Black Edition

372254fe-9284-41b0-81d5-9cbadf829273

Unicorn Black edition consists of a choice of seven layouts, featuring the most popular single and twin axle variants from the current Unicorn range.

Bristol-based Bailey Caravans will introduce its limited-edition Unicorn Black this autumn for the 2020 season with seven layouts including the 2-berth end-washroom Merida and six 4-berth models – Valencia, Vigo, Cadiz, Cabrera, Cartagena and Pamplona (the latter two both twin-axle).

Caravan was lucky enough to head to Bailey HQ to get a good look at this new line-up and was impressed with the new ‘Graphite’ coloured alloy wheels and a bold Black Edition graphics scheme – it gives the Unicorn a distinctive new look – bound to command attention both on-site and on the road.

Caravan safety systems

To ensure that this eye-catching investment remains safe on the road and secure on site, it is fitted with the latest safety and security equipment, including the AL-KO ATC Trailer Control System, AL-KO Secure wheel lock (two on twin axle models), TyrePal TPMS and a new TRACKER Monitor Stolen Vehicle Recovery System with an integral intruder alarm as standard specification.

Italian-style details

Bailey Unicorn Black Vigo

Inside subtle design changes to key areas enhance the feeling of style and comfort to make Unicorn Black Edition the perfect place to relax and unwind. New curved Italian design dual finish locker doors and mirrored front corner locker sections provide that extra level of sophistication, whilst kitchens also enjoy a style makeover with the inclusion of a circular stainless steel kitchen sink with concealed fixings, a new design splashback with chrome detailing and Bailey ‘Eucalyptus’ finish cabinet doors.

Alde Heating - Truma Solar

Unicorn’s four-season touring credentials are further enhanced with a fully specified Alde programmable central heating system, featuring a user-friendly digital control panel with battery back-up for uninterrupted programming, that has been thoroughly cold chamber tested to ensure optimum performance. Whilst a roof mounted Truma 100 watt solar panel allows you the additional freedom to enjoy off-grid caravan holidays.

In the kitchen

Feature kitchens offer extra worktop space and storage options and all come equipped with Dometic slim-line large capacity tower refrigerators, whilst boutique washrooms include unique built-in Thetford cassette toilets, pedestal hand basins and full width backlit mirrors (model specific).

A practical caravan

There’s plenty of practical touches throughout the caravan, such as the fitment of up to seven 230v sockets and eight USB charging points, an upgraded Bluetooth compatible sound system and even pre-wiring for the fitment of a caravan motor mover*, meaning that everything has been considered to make holidays in the new Bailey Unicorn Black Edition as enjoyable as possible.

Bailey of Bristol Managing Director Nick Howard said: “Enhanced styling inside and out gives this perennial favourite a fresh new look, which combined with an already comprehensive specification, accessible unladen weights and a competitive retail price make it an extremely attractive proposition for the discerning caravan owner” he added.

Consequently, the Unicorn Seville, Madrid, Barcelona and Segovia will be discontinued for the 2020 model year.

All seven models of the new Unicorn Black Edition range will be arriving on Approved Bailey Retailer forecourts from late August onwards.
