Adria reintroduces its Action caravan

a4b15db3-85c8-4733-aaca-e03bf0387a3d

Adria is reintroducing its sporty little Adria Action caravan for 2018. Designed to sleep two but capable of sleeping three, the Action has an MTPLM of 1100 kg. It will be priced at £17,575, including delivery.

The Action caravan first appeared just over 10 years ago and has been reintroduced in line with popularity of caravans designed for sport oriented use.

The Altea line up goes into 2018 unchanged, with new interior styling and with the option of a third bunk in the Severn model.

In the Adora range Alde heating is now included in all four models. All models now have grey and silver exterior colours.

The flagship Alpina range continues with two layouts, the Colorado with twin beds, and the Missouri, which has a layout change to a transverse island bed.

Action

The new-look Adria Action is just 5.1m long (overall) and has a U-shaped seating area, a rear kitchen and a corner toilet-shower compartment. A high-arching sunroof plus a slender front window let in plenty of light. The side windows have voile panels. The fridge is above a three-drawer unit, on the offside just forward of the toilet compartment. The washbasin is hinged, integral with a mirrored unit. A rail runs across the roof for hanging towels.

Cooking equipment is a combined oven-grill and a two-burner hob. Kitchen storage arrangements are three large drawers plus two more above the Truma heater unit alongside the door.

Action exterior styling is designed to turn heads, with a distinctive curved rear panel and curved kitchen window, plus dark blue metallic skirting against white sides.

The Action’s body is just 4m long; its width is 2.2m.

Altea

The lightweight, budget Altea range goes into 2018 with unchanged layouts. The six-berth Severn model now has the option of a third bunk, so that you can make your Seven into a seven-berth caravan.

Altea seating fabrics for 2018 are a weave combination of dark brown and cream. Curtains are plain cream.

Adora

Brown and sage green identifies the Adora models for 2018. They have plain brown curtains. Seating is upholstered in cream. Two of the four cushions have a cream tactile fabric; the other two are sage green which matches the three-tone green exterior graphics.

The four Adora models are the twin-bed, rear shower room Seine (£22,395; 1600kg MTPLM), the side island-bed Isonzo, also with a rear shower room (£22,495; 1750kg MTPLM); the rear shower room, nearside double bed Thames (£22,495; 1750kg MTPLM) and the Rhine, a six-berth with a side dining area making into bunks and a corner toilet-shower room alongside the double bed (£22,395; 1700kg MTPLM).

Alpina

The Alpina Missouri has a new bedroom layout for 2018. The bedhead is on the offside, with upholstered panelling on the walls up to window base height on the rear and offside wall. A deep gloss cream pelmet lines these walls above the windows.

A curtain divides the bedroom from the rear wall of the shower room, on the nearside, and the kitchen opposite. The mattress is sprung.

The shower room, on the nearside forward of the bedroom, is unchanged for 2018, and contains a separate shower at the fore end and a toilet with a hinged basin at the rear end. The exterior of this room has a new colour for 2018; lighter brown replaces dark brown. Three coat-hooks on an upholstered panel are on the fore-end wall of the shower room, alongside the door.

The two models in the Alpina range, the Colorado, with twin beds, and the Missouri, are both 8.24m in overall length and 2.46m wide, on AL-KO Delta single axles. These models have Alde heating plus underfloor heating as an extension of the system. The concave gloss cream top locker styling continues for 2018. Curtains are white with an elliptical grey and burgundy design. Burgundy also appears in the cushions. The seating fabric is plain pale grey. Corner lounge headrests continue into 2018.

Alpinas, in common with all of Adria’s models except the Action, have three-burner, inline hobs. Alpinas also have full ovens and grills plus extractor fans.

Both Alpina models are priced at £28,995. MTPLM is 1900kg. the Missouri’s MIRO is 1720kg; the Colorado’s MIRO is 1764kg.

All Adria’s prices for 2018 include a delivery fee of £585.
