A story of sun, sea, the Sahara, a Suzuki and a Sprite caravan

Long time friends, Lee Wright and Mark Knight, joined a car rally to Africa to raise essential funds for a medical centre in Africa and community workers in Somerset, closer to home.

The only difference between them and the other teams was that these two chose to tow a 23-year-old Sprite Alpine caravan behind their 15-year-old Suzuki Grand Vitara.

Speaking of Lee and Mark’s efforts, chief executive of Somerset Community Foundation, Justin Sargent, told Caravan magazine: “Lee and Mark’s phenomenal efforts will make a real different to Somerset Community Foundation’s support for the local charities and voluntary organisations that serve our communities.
