Willerby Owners’ Club: What’s it all about?
Owners of Willerby holiday homes are invited to become members of a club which offers discounts, competitions, invitations and free tickets
Owning a Willerby holiday home gets you more than a leisure lifestyle. It entitles you to become a member of a club.
The Willerby Owners’ Club is free to join and is open to buyers of pre-owned Willerby holiday homes as well as new ones. It’s also open to owners of BK Bluebird holiday homes, because this manufacturer is a part of the Willerby empire.
The Willerby Owners’ Club was launched just a year ago and already has 5,000 members.
Members get:
Welcome pack
A free welcome pack of goodies including limited-edition mugs – and a packet of wildflower seeds. That’s to encourage you to plant flowers that will attract bees. It’s all part of Willerby’s Bumblebee Conservation Trust work.
Willerby launched the campaign dedicated to bumblebee conservation in 2017, to celebrate the 70th year since the company’s foundation.
The link between bees and Willerby goes back more than 70 years, though. Walter Allen, founder of Willerby, had a business building beehives in the post-war years – before he saw a gap in the embryonic holiday market, and started building touring caravans.
The company progressed quickly to become the UK’s largest maker of holiday homes and now also has a range of residential homes plus new bespoke lodges in its vast portfolio.
Discounts
Members are offered discounts on a range of outdoor furniture, ideal to enhance holiday home decking areas.
They also get special offers and free tickets to shows including the Caravan, Motorhome and Holiday Home Expo at the Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate, which takes place 11-13 September.
Competitions
A range of competitions take place; typically, there are exotic hampers to be won, plus luxury spa breaks!
Newsletters
Members also receive regular newsletters to keep up with the latest developments from this energetic manufacturer.
Invitations
Members are invited to join focus groups dedicated to the development of the company’s holiday homes; this is an exciting chance to influence the Willerby holiday homes of the future.
There are also invitations to preview events at Willerby’s showground close to the factory in Hull, and opportunities to speak with the designers of the holiday homes, to get to know more about how a Willerby holiday home is created.
