Vantage Caravans

Vantage Caravans became an Elddis dealers last year and at the time this article was first published were left with only three demonstrators to clear before the 2011 stock arrives. The article read:
Now is the time for the opportunists to strike the deal of a lifetime and trade-ins are welcome. Phone 01526 345670 to stake your claim for one of these caravans at a very special price.
You will find Vantage Caravans on a two and a half acre site beside the A153 Sleaford Road, only a short distance to the east of Tattershall Bridge.
Apart from representing Elddis and Sprite, Vantage also stocks a varied range of used caravans. What is perhaps less well known is that Vantage Caravans also occupies a very specialist niche – that of the UK’s only authorised sales and service centre for the classic Carlight marque, originally built in nearby Sleaford.
All servicing work is carried out in their own three bay workshop and the site also houses a secure caravan storage facility.
Elddis Avante 362
The new models will have an even higher specification, including all-through LED lighting, but they will obviously take a step-up in price, even without factoring in the forthcoming VAT increase.
Make no mistake about it, these 2010 models are highly desirable and Vantage are offering these at very special prices. They are ex-demonstrators, but I can vouch for the fact that they are in first-class condition.
The Avante 362 is purely a two-berth, although it does have the option to make up either a double bed or two singles. It is the layouts that really captured the imagination of the buying public, with Elddis seemingly managing to create a larger living space than was theoretically possible.
The specification is high too, with every model having a built-in microwave and a Sony CD/radio with MP3 connectivity.
Other major features include the BPW Swing V-Tech Chassis and Winterhoff WS3000 stabiliser. Also included is the Thetford C250 cassette toilet with wheeled waste cassette.
Elddis Avante 540
For any couple, it is almost the RV of the caravan world, except that although it is no lightweight, it is still considerably lighter than most others in its class.
Two couples could live in this caravan or even parents with two small children, but it is really aimed at couples who really want to spoil themselves.
Elddis Odyssey 462
The mid-range Odyssey 462 is almost an Avante 540 without the fixed bed section, sharing a similar kitchen and also having an end washroom.
The slightly wider body is used well in creating a very spacious feel to this two-berth. LED mood lighting was introduced and there are five mains outlets to cope with the extra equipment that many people require, including laptop computers, Freeview boxes and satellite systems.
Each model comes with an external barbecue point and an awning warmer.
