The Starclass has its door on the UK nearside and is equipped to British specifications.
On the downside, it has an MTPLM of 1,800kg, but if you are comfortable with that, then it's hard to beat

2008 Hobby 540 UF DE LUXE £10,995



When you look at the opulent interior, you might be surprised to find that this Hobby has a maximum weight of a comparitively low 1,500kg.
British buyers sometimes get a bit snooty about those dimpled side panels, but step inside and it seems less like a caravan and more like an apartment.

2006 Hymer Nova 570 GS £9,750



At under £10,000, this Nova also has a door on the UK nearside and in terms of value for money runs head to head with the Starclass. Prepare to be amazed at what you can get for your money and prepare to be wowed by the washroom.

2005 Cristall Samoa 400 £5,995



Even if your budget is strictly limited, it is still possible to buy a caravan that is neat, tidy and well built. You will have to manage without an oven and the washroom is basic, but the build quality is exceptional. It is hard to imagine this Samoa ever wearing out.
