Scotland: Sands Caravan & Camping Park Sands Caravan and Camping Park, Wester Ross, Scotland

Gairloch, Wester Ross IV21 2DL
01445 712152
www.sandscaravanandcamping.co.uk

For a seasonal pitch in a stunning beachside location, look no further than Sands Caravan and Camping Park, on the beautiful west coast of the Highlands of Scotland.

With stunning views of the Isle of Skye and the Outer Hebrides, you can set up your caravan anywhere in the touring area – whether that be in a sheltered spot among the dunes or on a raised pitch with views across the Minch. There’s plenty of space to choose from on a 55-acre site, with all pitches just a stone’s throw from the beach.

While pitched at Sands, the facilities at your disposal include toilets and showers, a shop, games room, play area, watercraft launching slip, and a dog walk area. There’s also the option to hire bikes and kayaks to make the most of the waterside location and to explore the local area.

If you’re feeling peckish, the on-site Barn Café serves hot and cold food all day, including breakfasts, sandwiches and paninis, and steaks, burgers and lasagne.

Premier Parks logoDorset: Bingham Grange Touring & Camping Park Bingham Grange Touring and Caravanning Park, West Bay, Dorset

Bridport, Dorset DT6 3TT
01308 488234
www.binghamgrange.co.uk

This adult only caravan park and campsite overlooks rural Dorset countryside. The touring facilities are in a honeystone barn, and here you will find reception, a small shop and award-winning individual shower rooms with shower, wash basin and WC. There’s also a fully-equipped wet room style accessibility suite.

The pitches are beautifully landscaped with mature planting to provide privacy and shelter, some with countryside views and magnificent sunsets. Seasonal caravan pitches are available from March to October. There’s a choice of compact, standard or full-service hardstanding pitches. If you choose to have a seasonal pitch, find your tourer pitched ready for your arrival. Seasonal pitch fees include electricity, dogs, awning, season occupancy and full use of the facilities.

Bingham Grange has an all-weather dog walk where you can explore riverside nature trails and countryside footpaths leading to Bridport, West Bay and other nearby villages. On site is the Buzzards Restaurant and Bar with home cooked dishes to eat-in or take away. It’s just 10 minutes drive to Bridport and the West Bay coast.

North Yorkshire: Vale of Pickering Caravan Park Vale of Pickering Caravan Park

Carr House Farm, Allerston, Pickering, North Yorkshire YO18 7PQ

Situated close to Dalby Forest, and on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, Vale of Pickering Caravan Park offers the convenient option of Store and Stay. Here at the 15-acre park you can take the hassle out of towing and leave your caravan safe and secure in their storage compound, then book a pitch on site for a breakaway, and turn up for your holiday with your caravan ready for you!

Pitches are spacious and all-weather, suitable for caravans up to 27ft in length. Facilities on the park include heated washrooms, a laundry, licensed shop, play area and free WiFi.

Vale of Pickering has panoramic views and is green with trees, shrubs and hanging baskets. The site is near the market towns of Pickering, Malton, and the seaside towns of Scarborough, Whitby, Filey and Bridlington. Other local attractions include Castle Howard, Wolds Way Lavender, Playdale Animal Farm and Flamingo Land Theme Park.

Devon: Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks Beach near Woolacombe Bay, Devon

Station Road, Woolacombe, Devon EX34 7HW
01271 872 336
www.woolacombe.com

The first great thing about Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks is that there are four different parks to choose from and you can use the facilities at all four during your stay.

Seasonal pitches are available at the Twitchen House Holiday Park, Easewell Farm Holiday Park or Golden Coast Holiday Park, and you can make your choice of pitch. With seasonal pitching, there’s no need to book, just turn up when you want, and your caravan will be there just as you left it. Another great thing about Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks is that you can also store your tourer in their secure compound – a great option if you want to get away but not as often as you’d like.

Holidays at Woolacombe can be as action-packed or as relaxing as you choose. There’s a wide choice of eateries, swimming pools, bowling, surf simulator, adventure golf, even a spa; there are over 40 free Woolacombe Bay climbing wallactivities!
