Caravan of the Year: Adria Altea Dart

57137708-df20-48af-a3c0-8fa5e0df24e9

Winner: Adria Altea Dart

What’s Special?

The Adria Altea Dart is an entry-level caravan by design, which might make you think it will be basic by nature. But, at around £20,000, the Adria Altea Dart makes an impressive entrance. It’s a splendid four berth caravan.

On the outside, the Dart has the distinctive aerodynamics you see across Adria’s range. It’s forgivable to think the rest of the caravan looks like many models on the market. What’s different?

It’s inside the Altea Dart you notice the difference. Step in and what you notice how bright it is. The Adria designers make use of natural light. Big side windows in the lounge and bedroom, plus an enormous skylight. The result is a caravan that feels airy, fresh and spacious.

The pale brown cupboards, drawers and wardrobes add a modern touch. Its styling adds to the Dart’s lively feeling. The continental décor enhances the natural light and invites you to relax.

The Dart’s kitchen has a three-burner hob, which sits in line and leads to a big sink to their right. In front of the hob is enough space for preparing food on the resin surface. Included is an oven, and a hidden microwave oven as well as plenty of storage in shelves and cupboards. And, with a 140-litre fridge/freezer, it’s big enough to stock up for a week.

Kitchen - Adria Altea Dart

For privacy or to keep cooking smells out, the Dart has a separating door between the kitchen and the bedroom. Behind the door is the washroom with a separate shower and toilet.

The main bedroom is magnificent. There’s a huge island bed, a wardrobe either side and overhead storage.

The Adria Altea Dart is a super caravan which couples will like for its space and comfort. If you have occasional guests the Altea Dart can accommodate four people. This looks set to be a popular caravan offering stylish and versatile living.
