The shop, above the caravan showroom, is in two sections, giving almost as much space to awnings as to the comprehensive range of accessories.

Isabella's Magnum 260 Coal porch (£1099) is provong a good seller, complete with its annexe (£499). Dorema awnings are here, too, plus the lightweight Kampa range.

Unusual accessories include the new tube-shaped Isabella Click Light, which clips onto an awning pole. The LED light can be dimmed or brightened at the flick of a switch. It’s £44.49.

Another awning light, the Lumi (£14.98), charges from a USB port. It has six LEDs within a circular shade and can be suspended around an awning pole.

Also new was a BioLite, a device that enables you to charge phones by burning twigs! Also on the green theme were folding solar panels in three sizes: 90W, 60W and 40W.

The Cadac barbecue range included the Carry Chef 2; half of the circular cooking area is ridged, for cooking meat, the other half is flat, for mushrooms, tomatoes and eggs. Paella pans and even a roasting pan (ideal for chicken) were also in the Cadac display.

Durable three-layer glass laminate Corelle tableware is rising in popularity as an alternative to melamine. It can be used in a microwave or gas oven. Sold in sets or singly prices are a reasonable £7.99 for a pasta bowl and £5.98 for a deep plate.
