Freshwater Beach Holiday Park

39885634-f2ad-4e8d-a08a-02c0284b33fb
THE entrance to this holiday complex is clearly signposted and is found off the B3157 road to Burton Bradstock.

The large flat area of the touring caravan field was beyond this point, with access directly on to a gently sloping pebble beach, which Freshwater Beach holidaymakers have exclusive use of.

The pitches were a mix of grass and hard-standings, with most featuring 16 amp hook-ups. The pitches have an open aspect.

There was a licensed, well-stocked shop selling groceries, basic caravan accessories and holiday goods.

There is a games room with gaming machines and the Club complex also offers pool and table-tennis.

The large modern toilet block was very clean, with free hairdryers and there is a disabled facility, as well as a mother and baby room. The large modern laundry room was used by both static owners and caravanners alike.

On site are three bars, a restaurant and take-away service, with the entertainment being available each evening in the licensed club during peak season.

Also on site is an outdoor pool, together with a large children’s play area. TV reception on site is fair, while reception on the 02 and Vodafone networks is good.

Next to the park is a large golf course and driving range, for which day permits can be purchased.

Visitors to the complex can also enjoy pony trekking during the season.

Judging by the brochure handed to us there is plenty of entertainment for adults and children at the Park in all weathers during the season.
