South Lytchett Manor Caravan & Camping Park

Set in 25 acres of stunning parkland in the grounds of a former Manor House, South Lytchett Manor is a visual landscaped wonderland with mature trees, rhododendrons and summer bedding plants. Just beyond the impressive listed gates, you'll find the reception, shop and café. There’s a regular bus service which stops right outside the campsite to Poole and the Jurassic Coast – ideal for those looking to take advantage of their bus passes and leave their vehicles on site!

The village has two excellent pubs just a 10 and 20 minute walk, and guests from the campsite can take advantage of a voucher for a free bottle of wine when purchasing two main courses at the St Peters Finger. The Courtyard Centre is just a two-minute stroll from site with quirky arts and crafts shops and a cafe serving home cooked breakfasts and lunches.

The park is committed to sustainability and delighted to hold a Green Tourism Gold Award and The Green Initiative Award.

The on-site facilities are an award winning five-star standard, with three immaculate and modern amenity blocks, family rooms, and two large disabled facilities which all have heating, are bright and adorned with fresh flowers.

Other facilities include an outdoor area for ball games and an adventure playground. The Information Hut provides a wealth of tourist attraction details and staff are on hand to provide excellent local knowledge with free printouts for walks, cycle routes, accessibility information and dog friendly days out! Dogs are welcome at South Lytchett Manor and four-legged friends benefit from a 2½ acre mowed off-lead dog walking field and a dog wash.

The spacious deluxe pitches have their own water, drainage and a picnic bench. 100 pitches are set on hardstanding and the whole park is level and well drained. You will be able to easily stay connected while on holiday as WiFi and TV connections are completely free across the park!

Glamping options are available. Sleeping up to 4 guests (2 adults and 2 children up to 14 years old), choose from shepherd huts, glamping pods, Romany caravans and new for 2024, star-gazing Mongolian yurts.

The sandy beaches of Bournemouth, Sandbanks and Poole are only a short distance away offering miles of golden sands and very safe bathing. Local attractions include National Trust houses like Kingston Lacy, as well as the cottage of Thomas Hardy. Other nearby attractions are Monkey World, the Bovington Tank Museum, Brownsea Island and Compton Acres.
