Meadow Lakes

At Meadow Lakes there are large, spacious electric and non electric pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents. There are three amenity blocks, one of which has a family bathroom with shower, WC and bath. There is also a laundry in a central location which has coin operated machines and two tumble dryers.

For alternative types of accommodation there are plenty of hire options - luxury lodges, garden cottages or static caravans, all of which come fully furnished for your stay.

Whether you are touring or hiring, everyone can enjoy the benefit of the park's facilities. For a start there are four coarse fishing lakes - two 2-acre lakes and two 1-acre. They are all generously stocked and fishing is included in the price of your stay. The heated outdoor pool and children's pool is open daily from May to September and has changing rooms and shower facilities. The area around the pool has a grassed lounging area and patio complete with sun loungers.

Children will enjoy the two outdoor play areas complete with swings, slides and other equipment. There are also tennis courts which are open from 9am to 7pm with rackets and balls available from reception if needed. The animals which are present on site will also provide some interest for all the family. There are goats, donkeys, a Shetland pony, rabbits, chickens and cats.

There is a shop on site which stocks fresh produce and groceries and a cosy cafe.

Dogs are welcome at Meadow Lakes and there is plenty of countryside surrounding the site for your to walk and enjoy. There is a large dog exercise field where dogs are free to be let off the lead and the area does have dog friendly beaches - reception can offer advice on where these are.

If all that isn't enough to keep you on site, there's plenty to see and do off site as well. Meadow Lakes is situated between the town of St Austell and the fishing village of Mevagissey. It's only nine miles to the famous Eden Project and five miles to the Lost Gardens of Heligan. As you would expect with Cornwall there are plenty of golden sandy beaches to discover along with castles, golf courses and zoos.
