WHAT’S IT LIKE?

The Air 6 inflatable tent from Berghaus is a best-seller because of its practicality and quality, and now it’s available in a premium polycotton fabric which adds a touch of class to an already excellent tent.

That’s part of the reason the Berghaus Air 6 XL was commended in the Best Luxury Tent category in the recent Camping magazine awards, but it’s not the whole story. As well as looking a feeling great, polycotton provides increased breathability to keep the tent cool in summer and deals better with condensation than polyester. It’s closer in performance to traditional canvas but with the added reassurance of modern materials.  Its resistance to harmful UV rays and robust fabric should give the tent some longevity.

Despite its size, this large tent is quick to pitch and once up you’ll find it has lots of useable living space. The integrated porch is perfect for cooking and there’s a rain-hood over the side door.

The large PVC windows provide plenty of light and ventilation is good, with high and low vents for improved airflow and mesh backing on all three entrances. Bedroom dividers mean you can have flexible sleeping options and there are multiple storage pockets throughout the living and sleeping areas.

Having electric hook-up entry points on both sides of the tent is a handy feature and the wheeled carry bag makes moving the tent easier.
