Troutbeck Camping and Caravanning Club Site
The Camping and Caravanning Club has opened two new sites.
Formerly Shardaroba Caravan Park, Teversal Camping and Caravanning Club Site is near Sutton in Ashfield in Nottinghamshire, and is ideally placed to explore Sherwood Forest and the Peak District.
The site offers over 100 pitches and has already won many awards, including Gold in the Caravan Holiday Park category in the Enjoy England Excellence Awards 2005.
Troutbeck Camping and Caravanning Club Site is a 55-pitch site just nine miles from the club's Keswick site - a superb location in unbeatable walking country with spectacular views. On-site facilities include a shop which sells local and organic produce.
Franchisees Chris and Jayne Woods are the new owners of the Teversal site. "This represents a complete change of lifestyle for our family. We are excited to be working with the club and look forward to welcoming friends old and new," said Chris.
Franchisees at Troutbeck are Fraser and Suzanne Smith. "From our new site you can see the magnificent mountain scenery and you are ideally situated between the Eden Valley, Ullswater and Borrowdale. It was love at first sight on our initial visit to Troutbeck - we just had to have it!" said Suzanne.
Club members can book a pitch at Teversal or Troutbeck Camping and Caravanning Club Sites on www.campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk and non-members can book via the National Call Centre on 0870 243 3331.
