New Northumberland National Park Visitor Guide 2011

The 2011 Northumberland National Park Visitor Guide is now available to download online.

The new guide has 32 pages packed with ideas of where to visit, get active and eat in and around Northumberland’s stunning hill country. Comprehensive visitor information includes suggested walking routes and the times of free guided walks by volunteer rangers every Sunday in July and August.

The least populated of Britain’s fourteen National Parks, Northumberland National Park is home to less than 2000 people, most of whom live along one of its six main river valleys. Criss-crossed by 700 miles of footpaths and public rights of way, it is the ideal place to walk, cycle or horse-ride.
