Keswick Mountain Festival

4dbef261-ec19-4e12-8245-ac527bfee12a
PLANS have been announced for the third Keswick Mountain Festival, which will take place between May 13 and 17.

It promises to be an even bigger and better event than last year, which was packed with activities and unusual events including the first Keswick Triathlon and a dinner on the top of Keswick’s highest peak, Skiddaw.

Then there was the plethora of walking, climbing, water, biking and other adventurous activities to try out or improve on existing skills.

This year’s festival – with regular sponsor Jennings teaming up with Ordnance Survey to support the event – already looks to be full of surprises, with new sporting events and a line-up of inspirational speakers.

If you are a would-be traveller or new to the outdoor world, then there is no better time to rub shoulders with, and be inspired by famous climbers, mountaineers, adventure racers and explorers than at Keswick Mountain Festival.

You can hear adventurers’s tales of reaching new heights and exploring the far-flung corners of the world. Let climber Leo Holding take you to the edge with tales of extreme adventure, or be exhausted hearing how Rosie Swale Pope ran around the world. There will even be stories from Oceans celebrity Paul Rose.
