The Caravan Club is almost doubling the number of sites offering Wi-Fi coverage, while at the same time upgrading the service at existing ones.Once the current installation programme is complete, a total of 60 club sites will be connected to the Internet, allowing members to check e-mails, travel and weather forecasts, access local tourist information and find out about events taking place in their holiday region, using their laptops.
To connect to Wi-Fi, members simply purchase a card containing password and full instructions from site reception.
The new system will allow cheaper, more flexible access than at present, with the validity of the card extended to six months from the current 72 hours.
