Fun in the sun at Big Camp 2014

Hundreds of campers enjoyed a fantastic sun-drenched weekend at Camping magazine’s Big Camp 2014.

Kelling Heath Holiday Park in Norfolk was the venue for the camping event of the year, held in association with Coleman.

The sun blazed throughout the weekend, allowing everyone to make the most of all the fabulous events and facilities on offer at the award-winning site.

The fun started on Friday night with a quiz hosted by TV game show champion Rob Burman (star of The Chase). On Saturday pets won prizes at our dog show before tent manufacturers Coleman hosted a family games day on the campsite’s sports field.

The event featured tent pitching contests and sleeping bag races. And dozens of lucky winners went home with Coleman prizes ranging from huge family tents to the latest high-tech Xcelerate cooking stoves.

Campers also took part in various events throughout the weekend, including the local producers’ market, craft-making and wildlife rambles.
