Find your way on a dark campsite with a new head torch

da86385f-2fd9-4f51-b527-8d496041a259

Staggering back from the pub late one night, trying to get your keys into the habitation door but it’s pitch black and raining? Clearly you need to attach the new Robens Zensor torch to your head to address this problem. The Zensor torch introduces true, hands-free convenience that allows you to control your light source with a wave of the hand thanks to the Intelligent IR Sensor – perfect if you need full use of your hands during pursuits like climbing, fishing, working or trying to find those pesky keys.

The 75g waterproof Zensor uses three AAA batteries to power a Luxeon Rebel ES White LED and two 5mm red LEDs for night vision. Focus control illumination offers one flood and four spot options with SOS flashing for emergency use. And convenience is enhanced further by the use of a dimmer function that allows you to quickly and simply choose between 10-150 Lumens without cycling through set options.

The Zensor (£24.99) is joined by the Zen (£21.99) – a traditional style waterproof head torch weighing in at 56g, that also uses three AAA batteries to produce up to 120 Lumens for up to 70 hours depending on temperature and battery quality. The single Cree LED and two standard LEDs provide the option of a powerful focused beam with three different power levels, or a wide, soft floodlight at two power levels and a flash mode.
