Motorhomers can now take the hard work out of Devon and Cornwall’s famously hilly terrain whilst making the most of the stunning countryside this summer.
Independently-owned holiday park, Woodovis Park, has introduced a greener way for campers to get out and explore the tranquil Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.Ideal for motorhome and campervan owners keen to pitch up and enjoy a break from being behind the wheel, as well as those wanting to keep fit on holiday, the new, top of the range bikes are supplied courtesy of Dartmoor Electric Bicycles and are available to collect on site. The battery equipped cycles afford a little bit of an extra boost to traditional pedal power, making the perfect match for wending your way about the West Country.
The bikes cost £27 per day or £16 for half a day to hire, and the Woodovis Park team are on hand to show guests the ropes and suggest the best routes for taking in local sights, a pub lunch or cream tea.
Suggestions include heading to the market town of Tavistock and Dartmoor National Park, setting out on the Drake’s Trail cycle route or even hopping on the train with your bike to venture along the Tamar Valley Line towards the harbour city of Plymouth. Participants must be 14 years or over.
Situated on the edge of Dartmoor on the Devon-Cornwall border, Woodovis Park offers a holiday cottage, a range of luxury caravans, 50 spacious pitches (including all weather pitches) and camping pods. Visit the website for the latest special offers at woodovis.com.
