Customer demand sees Salop Leisure branch out into tents

Salop Leisure, named Practical Caravan Dealer of the Year 2012, is now stocking a range of Royal tents as well as a wide selection of camping accessories.

With more people set to spend their summer holidays in the UK this year, Salop Leisure is keen to provide a comprehensive service to customers, ranging from four berth tents, touring caravans and motorhomes to caravan holiday homes and luxury lodges.

The company has Royal four, six and eight berth tents on display at its Emstrey sale centre, which is located alongside Shrewsbury bypass.

Not only does the company sell tents and camping accessories, but it can also provide information about quality campsites to visit in Mid Wales, along the Cambrian Coast and in the Heart of England.

“Having witnessed growing demand for camping over past two years, the company has decided to stock a range of tents to provide an extra service to customers this summer,” said Andy Harding, Salop Leisure’s accessory shop manager.

“Many people are opting for camping holidays because they like spending time in the great outdoors, while others are seeking a cheaper family holiday.

“For the same or less than a week’s family holiday in a hotel abroad, you can buy a tent, equipment and a range of camping accessories. After that initial outlay, you can take the whole family camping whenever you wish. You’ll save a fortune and make the most of every weekend and every school holiday.

“Finding the right camping equipment is a vital part of planning a successful camping holiday. The last thing anybody wants is to be uncomfortable, cold or wet. That’s why we have staff available to advise customers about the different tents available and safety issues.”

Royal has over 16 years presence in the camping and caravan markets and is recognised as one of the leaders within the outdoor industry.
