A NEW DVD has been produced showing a father and son team taking on a stunning variety of walks in the Lake District national park.Produced by Lakeland Walker magazine, Charles & Ian McLean use OS maps and reference books to navigate through the national park to take in the beautiful scenery.
All walkers’ levels are catered for in Walking in the Lake District from the leisurely to the grade 3 scramble as walks vary in length from a short couple of hours to long full days. The father and son banter makes this an entertaining watch with nearly an hour and 20 minutes of footage.
Taking inspiration from Alfred Wainwright‘s comments they take in Eagle Crag, Cam Crags, Glaramara, Pillar, Windy gap, Green Gable, Great Gable, Castle Crag and Helm Crag.
With motion graphics on OS maps showing the routes, you will be able to follow their walks for inspiration. A must see for anyone who loves the Lake District.
